After almost 20 years Deaflympic Committee of Slovakia undertook to organize World Deaf Alpine Skiing Championships 2025 that will take place in Jasná, Slovakia from 6 to 14 January 2025.

The Deaflympics Committee of Slovakia (DCS) is a national sports organization and has the status of an open, independent and non-political organization that guides the sports of hearing-impaired athletes and the Deaflympics movement in Slovakia, participates in the coordination and development of the Deaflympics movement in the world.
The goal of the DCS is to implement, ensure and protect group and individual needs that implement the citizen’s right to physical activity in the interests of citizens with hearing impairments and to create optimal material and organizational conditions for the development of sports competitions and representatives of Slovakia in international deaf sports.
The DCS ensures a dignified sports representation of Slovakia at the Deaflympics and other events organized by the International Committee of Deaf Sports (ICSD), the European Deaf Sports Organization (EDSO), the International Deaf Chess Committee (ICCD) and the World Golf Federation (WDGF). It supports the integration of sports for hearing-impaired citizens into the national and international sports movement while protecting its identity.
