The sports community centre was built in 2019 at the site of the Hradná elementary school and kindergarten on Hradná Street in Liptovský Hrádok, and features an ice rink measuring 20 x 40 metres. The facility features four changing rooms, complete sanitary facilities, rooms for the cooling equipment and the Zamboni, a reception area and a small café.
The ice rink itself is open nine months of the year – from 15 September to 15 June. In the summer months, in-line hockey, hockey ball and other sports can be enjoyed here.
The centre is primarily used for scheduled physical activities for pupils from primary schools.
The centre is open to the public according to the current schedule for the respective calendar week.
