The narrow gauge railroad Korytnička was one of the major and productive transport possibilities of its time. It connected Ružomberok town with the famous Korytnica Spa. A locomotive at the railway station in Ružomberok is a memorial of its scratched glory. There is not much left of Korytnička at present. Many sections of the former railway lay-out have turned into a cycling trail with an asphalt surface for both tourists and home residents, and along with railway buildings it holds the last footprints of this narrow gauge railroad. However, probably the most famous artefact is the U 37.006 locomotive displayed on a monument in the park near the railway station Ružomberok.
