Brewery – Koliba Fatranka

Koliba Fatranka restaurant is a part of the U dobrého pastiera resort located in the Čutkovská valley. Decorated in a simple style, Fatranka offers a pleasant atmosphere in which to enjoy the taste of homemade and craft beers brewed at the URSUS brewery, the first brewery in Ružomberok. The restaurant also serves a selection of delicious snacks to accompany the exceptional beer brewed from the water from the Čutkovská valley. They include cheese and meat specialities and different kinds of podplamenníks (potato cakes), all freshly baked in the restaurant.

URSUS, the 1st Ružomberok brewery is located in the picturesque surroundings of the Čutkovská valley, in the center of the lower Liptov, Ružomberok district. It was founded on the foundations of the successfully developing area “U dobrého pastiera“, which for many years has been bringing culinary or tourist experiences to domestic visitors as well as guests from afar in the style of the traditional Liptov village. The URSUS brewery complements the offer of the complex’s services with real craft beer brewed with a heart.

Precisely tuned wooden buildings in the Čutkovská valley and the conceptually selected purpose of their use create a pleasant environment for relaxation in the spirit of an old traditional wooden village. The wooden house, chapel and humno are complemented by a well, a covered fireplace or a spring of water with a wooden roof, and sheep graze in the meadow opposite.
