The Útulňa Ďurková (tourist shelter) pod Chabencom shelter is located in the Low Tatras under the main ridge and is built on the site of a former chalet.
Many tourists sleep here in the summer when crossing the main ridge of the Low Tatras, and in the winter the area offers ideal conditions for alpine skiing.
People sleep in their own sleeping bags on mattresses in one dormitory room in the attic that can take 33 people, while the canteen can take another 20 people in an emergency.

- from the mountain village of Magurka following the green trail, 2 1/4 hours,
- from the main ridge of the Low Tatras (red trail – E8) at the crossroads: Malý Chabenec (1800), hrebeň Chabenca (1730), sedlo Ďurkovej (1709) following the blue and green trails, the descent takes 15 minutes.
